A leader is best when the people barely know that the leader exists,
Not so good when they obey and acclaim their leader,
And worst when they despise and fear their leader.

"Fail to honor people and they fail to honor you;"
But of a good leader, who talks little,
When their work is done and their aim is fulfilled,
The people will say, "we did this ourselves."
